An even game. Just not going for the Wares. Never stopped and got a late goal for their efforts. A Good first half though. Chances for both sides. Best chances for the Wares and had more possession overall.

First shot to Biggleswade in the 7th minute but Mikkel James evens things up in the 8th. George McCluskey has an attempt in the 12th which forced a corner and Eric Lopes fires wide as a result. The Wares put on a good display at the start. Biggleswade have a shot off target in the 18th. The games opened up a bit and in the 26th minutes the opposition striker had a shot and in the 31st Ryan Carruthers has his turn. Minutes later Biggleswade again have a couple of chances but the end of the first half goes to the Wares bu just before the whistle Fergus Moore and Brian Mooney clash head clearing the same ball.

The start of the second half was torrid affair with Biggleswade putting the Wares under pressure early on and the clash of heads in the first half saw Fergus Moore retire from the game. It didn’t take long before Mooney also came off. Benavides and Bishop-Hodgkins on. The inevitable happened in the 57th minute when the much depleted defence allowed the opposition to make it 0-1. The Wars never gave up but the substitutions left the game in a mess for the Wares as they couldn’t find any consistency. Biggleswade scored in the 67th and 74th minutes to kill the game.

FT: 1-3
