A very entertaining game. Fairly even for the first 20 or so minutes when Dunstable grab the game by the scruff for the next 10 or so. The Wares then grew in strength and dominated the next 10 minutes before the game opened back up for last 5 minutes before the break. Disappointing scoreline at that point. With no real shots on goal to mention. The game was evenly contested throughout and despite more opportunities to the Wares over the whole game they were not able to capitalise. The game only really opened up after a wild shot from distance hit the far post to go in. Dunstable’s second goal came late in the game as the Wares were pushing for an equaliser. A very late goal by Mark Burgess couldn’t change things. Very unlucky.

First corner of the game went to the Wares in the 6th minute however it was Dunstable that had momentum. James Burgess picks up a yellow in the 16th as the Wares tried to get back into the game. Shortly after there was some great build up player from Edgware but with no end product. In the 20th Eric Lopes deliver a great 50 yard pass to Mikkel James who drives for goal but a last ditch tackle from his maker stopped any danger. The Ware grew late into the half but Dunstable held firm.

HT: 0-0

The Wares opened the second half again with a corner. The game picked up from where it left off with both teams playing well but the Wares with the better chances early on. Dunstable took the lead when a wild shot developed on the counter hit the inside of the post to go in 1-0. Changes were made in the 61st minute when Felix Amoah came on for Mohammed Jahazi and some minutes later Michael Koscien comes on for Ryan Carruthers. The Wares then built a little momentum and on the 71st the Wares bring on Steven Benavides for Eric Lopes. Dunstable then makes some changes too. In the 74th a great move by the Wares, a forward ball from Beech to Benavides who strikes the bar from just outside the box. Mark Burgess picks up a yellow late in the game and Dunstable on the counter manage to score their second in added time 2-0. The Wares then gain a corner minutes later and Mark Burgess gets to the ball at the far post to score with no time left to make a difference 2-1.
