Despite a slow start and a couple of terrible errors not capitalised on by Tigers the first half was comfortably Edgware’s. With 16 attempts at gaol and 6 on target it was a comfortable win and chances to have gone further ahead. This on a day that our Keeper was unfortunately injured in the first minutes of the game.

First action of the match sees Greg Marsh come off inured and replaced by Scott McGleish. Fergus Moore comes on to fill in at Centre Back. It didn’t take long and Gooaaallll! Tyriq smashes one in from a tight angle Edgware 1-0 Tiger (22). Shortly after as the Wares keep the pressure on GOAL! Edgware 2-0 Tigers (27). Rio slid in Tom for him to put one through the keepers legs. The Wares kept going and GOAL! Edgware 3-1 Tigers (32). A lovely move from defence ends with a lovely assist from Rio Beech to Tyriq Hunte so he could take his first touch around the keeper.

HT: 3-0

It was an excellent start to the second half with several chances to increase the lead. The first substitution for the Wares was in the 57nd minute and saw Tom Fisher makes way for Steven Benavides. It really didn’t take long after that for Steven to make in impact. A free kick was awarded to the Wares about 20 yards out and GOAL! Edgware 4-0 Tigers. The free kick taken by Steven was hit low and hard into the bottom far corner. Substitution (65): William Murphy was on for Ethan Mooney and entering into the last 15 minutes it was all Edgware really. The Wares just missed out on a 5th goal the substitute Will puts in a beautiful through ball to Tyriq who could only somehow conspires to miss an open goal.
