Wares made the best of it after going 1 player down early. Fairly even battle otherwise chances had for both sides. Clearly possession and therefore the better football played by Eynesbury.

Mark Burgess and the Eynesbury no6 clashed a couple of times at the start of the game which was a sign of things to comeā€¦ George McCluskey picked up a yellow card in the 7th minute. The first shot of the game came from Eisa Azab in the 12th, on target but easily saved. A couple of minutes later Eynesbury had their opportunity but was wide of the mark. Eynesbury had momentum early with a string of corners but to no avail. Halfway through the second half Eisa Azab had to come off with an injury and was replaced by Sam Ocheja. The game balanced evenly when in the 31st minute saw another clash between Mark Burgess and the Eynesbury no6, Burgess saw red! Eynesbury then go on the offensive and get their rewards in the 45th minute.

HT: 0-1

The Wares were in for a tough ride in the second half and so it was. 5 shots in 10 minutes for Eynesbury at the started of the second half and in the 58th minute Denis Maharjan was replaced by Ryan Carruthers. Sam Ocheja picked up a yellow in the 61st and plenty of fouls committed by the wares to stem Eynesbury momentum. Eynesbury Rovers decide to make 2 substitutions in the 65th and within minutes fresh legs helped the score double up. 0-2. The Wares never gave up though. A quick substitution for the Wares saw Felix Amoah replace Adam Page and within minutes Theo Ofori had 2 attempts at goal around the 70th minute. Ethan Mooney also getting some shots off at goal shortly after. Eynesbury were working with possession and the Wares on the counter. Several opportunities for both sides but the score remained as it was.
