A very strange game. Men v boys. The Wares were excellent in the first half, had they taken their chances in the first half it could have been a very different game. A claim for a clear penalty was also turned down. The second half saw a Wares collapse. Over the game 3 goals were from set pieces.

The first half was played with enthusiasm. The Wares played some great football, dominated and had exactly double the chances of the opposition. Tring had 3 shots and scored 2 a lesson in how to be clinical in from t of goal. The Wares were denied a clear penalty at 0-1 which would have changed the game. Being sharp in front of goal would have made all the difference.

HT: 0-2

The first 20 minutes were Tring’s but the Wares still has their chances. Tring scored from 2 set pieces where poor marking and clearing-lines were all too evident for the boys in green. Halfway through the second half Samuel Ocheja and Hadi Issa both came on for Denis Maharjan and Eric Lopes respectively. The Wares were out of sorts and the performance felt disjointed maybe because of the enforced changes in the line up due to injuries.

FT: 0-6
