Edgware Town share the spoils with Potton United as an entertaining match ends with a point each in the League encounter this week. First half went to the Wares with some very good footballplayed and two goals made of nothing but hard work and taking opportunities.The second half saw 3 enforced changes disrupting the flow of the game first allowing Potton to come back into the game and keep pressing hard and then to get back in the game looking for the equaliser. 

A few half chances for Potton in the opening minutes until the 6th when Alex with a shot that goes over. A moment of panic for the Wares in the 7th minute as a Potton player managed to turn and fire a shot on target. Another moment of panic in the 17th minute for the Wares as the another Potton player managed to fire another shot on target. Changes were brought in the 24th minute for the Wares as Shammer Swaby is replaced by Steven Benavides. Ethan then picked up the ball in a good position in the box and lifts the bell over the Potton United goalkeeper. The keeper had no chance. Goal time: 39th minute for Edgware Town. After some excellent play, the Wares were awarded a penalty. There was no chance of the keeper saving it as the resulting penalty was excellently taken by Steven Benavides . Goal time: 44th minute.

Furhter changes in the 46th minute for Edgware Town as Patrick is replaced by Lolu. Further changes in the 54th minute for Edgware Town FC as Alex Morgan is replaced by Ferg. Soon after a clean hit from Callum in the 56th minute forced a save by the goalkeeper but Potton United managed to get rid of the ball after a good spell of possession for Edgware Town FC. Potton United continued to work tirelessly, as their player strikes a volley from the edge of the box leaving Harry stranded 2-1. However, with 69th minutes on the clock, the match could have gone either way. It was catching practice for the Potton United keeper in the 72nd as he watched Omalolu Onabolu’s shot fall safely into his hands. The Potton United manager decided to introduce some fresh legs with a substitution in the 74th minute. Another moment of panic in the 79th minute for the Wares as Potton fire a shot on target again. With 87th minutes on the clock, Potton United took advantage of a spell of possession to score after pinball in the box, disapointing but inevitable. The Wares rushed back to the half way line to get the game restarted. Potten find another moment of pressure but Ferg pulls off a great clearance off the line but then the Wares were knocking on the door and a thundering strike by Callum Doyle was saved by the Potton United keeper.
