Another evenly balanced game with about equal chances and half chances. Potton with slightly more possession and the Wares looked good on the counter attack and some good build up play at times too.

A great start the Wares having to gain the ball back off Potton as they kicked off. Some lovely interchange in midfield from a switch of play to the left hand side. Lolu then took on their right back and delivered a perfect ball for the on coming Ivan as he headed the ball from about the penalty spot into the top corner of the keepers left hand side 0-1 within 5 minutes. An attempted reply from Potton came around the 13th minute mark. It was an even game up to the 35th minute when Potton had a sustained spell of possession and several corners. It was just a matter of time when from another poorly cleared corner a Potton player put it in the back of the net in the 41st minute to finish the half 1-1.

HT - 1–1

Edgware started the brighter side with a little more possession and slightly better football playing to feet and moving through the thirds. With a slight manipulation of personnel and a substitution in the 56 minute when Ryan made way for Mikkel helped continue the Wares’ control. Potton were breaking play up but the Wares were pushing for another goal and it came in the 66th minute as a ball came across from the left to Ivan who poached the ball into the back of the net at the back post 1-2. The game remained close with both Potton and Edgware having chances. There was an excellent period of possession for about 10 minutes where the Wares kept the ball well which helped dominate Potton psychologically. The Wares then had to dig deep in the last moments which they did well with another substitution in the 87th minute, Dan Pett on for Rio to end the game as winners.
