Wares were not in form. Hadley had most of the possession and attempts at goal but both teams were ineffective and had very little on target with 2 shots each and 3 of those were saved. The Wares had an excellent chance to equalise late in the first half.

Hadley started the brighter and was an ominous sign for the rest of the game. Although one side had momentum very little happened until the 17th minutes when Hadley had 3 corners in quick succession and the Wares looked fragile defending them. The next five minutes saw Hadley adding 2 free kicks around the box, a corner and an attempt at goal. It took 20 minutes for the Wares to get into the game and balance things out but in the 28th minutes Hadley scored when Edgware failed to clear a free kick 0-1. Both teams had several attempts at goal during the last 15 minutes of the first half, one was probably the best worked chance of the game with a chance to equalise.

HT - 0–1

Again Hadley started the brighter but this time the Wares failed to get any semblance of a grip on the game. Martin Flannery picked up a caution in the 48th minute. 10 minutes later both teams had attempts at goal in the space of 2 minutes. Ethan Mooney is replaced by Steven Benavides on 63 minutes. A minute later one of the Hadley players has an audacious strike from distance to which the Wares keeper does well to get down to. Hadley pick up a caution on the 66th minute just before Lolu has a go at goal. Tyrone Mulholland makes way for Ryan Carruthers on 70 minutes slightly before Steven Benavides takes a hit on the ankle and has to go off making way for Ronny Mfinda. Both Christian Londono and Sam Addae pick up a caution late in the game. The game finishes with Hadley in possession.
