A reasonably comfortable win in the end. The Wares had 20 attempts at goal with 7 on target and Tring had 10 shots at goal with 3 on target.

The Wares started really well with Steven Benavides having an attempt at goal being followed up by Dan Pett and Tommy Walsh hitting the target in quick succession. The Wares then stepped up a gear with some great possession football, with some great moves that led Steven Benavides to strike at goal and Andrew Manitou and Lolu with an attempt each. Tring were relegated to counter attacking and came close on a couple of occasions nearly making the Wares pay for their missed chances. On 36 minutes Cain Davies was called into action before the Wares had a penalty shout turned down. Both Ronnie Mfinda and Tommy Walsh had an attempt each before half time.,

HT - 0–0

Within the first minutes of the start of the second half Steven Benavides goes down the lefthand side, cuts in and strikes across the goal keeper  into the bottom corner. A great start to the half 1-0. The Wares continue to dominate with the occasional Tring counter. Rio Beech strikes at goal on 56 minutes followed by Steven Benavides on 63 minutes. Shortly after Denis Marhajan volleys towards goal forcing the Tring keeper into a good save. Luke Durnin comes on for Andrew Manitou on 65 minutes and shortly after Mark Burgess heads powerfully towards goal again forcing the keeper into a reaction save and Steven Benavides follows up with another strike at goal. Ronnie Mfinda makes way for Reon Thomas on 68 minutes and shortly after both Lolu and Steven have another strike at goal. On 79 minutes Tommy Walsh picked up an injury and is replaced by Stanley Anum. Lolu then has another strike at goal. For the last ten or so minutes Tring pile on the pressure to get an equaliser and on one occasion force Cain Davies into a great reaction to push over the bar and keep the Wares 1 up. Just before full-time Stanley Anum has a golden opportunity to kill the game but the ball squeezes underneath the keeper and defects for a corner. The Wares then see out the game as Tring continue to try and get back into the game.
