A fairly contested game with no cautions. A well fought point. With 7 shots a piece, Biggleswade were slightly closer to the mark. Altogether a fair result.

With Edgware starting the brighter and against the run of play Biggleswade put the pressure with a counter and the resulting play in the 10th minutes led to a goal 1-0. A long ball was played to their number 8 on the lefthand side who took the ball to the six yard box to cut in the stick it in the top corner. The first half saw Biggleswade have most of the possession but the Wares have more chances 4 shots to their 3. The last 10 or so minutes the Wares had most of the possession and applied pressure to sneak one in before half-time without success.

HT - 1–0

In almost reverse fashion Biggleswade started the half stronger but within 5 minutes the Wares equalised with James muscling his way through the defence after a trough ball was passed to him just outside their box. He powered his way into the 6 yard area and poked the ball into the goal through the keepers legs 1-1. For the next 10 minutes Biggleswade stepped up their possession stats without any real end product. On 63 minutes James had a mother shot that forced a save form the keeper. A short spell then followed were both teams had half chances. Manitou on for During in the 70th minute increased the Wares intensity. Late in the game the Wares suffered 2 injuries before Blackburne came on for Marhajan in the 88th minute. Just before the final whistle Pett cleared the ball off the line surviving a spell of strong pressure from Biggleswade. The Wares kept firm.
