After earlier acrimonious proceedings this match was contested with a slightly bitter taste. Leverstock where unable to beat the Wares in the their first encounter drawing 1-1 and effectively lost the second game 3-2 only to have a reprieve within a minute of the the final whistle to have another go. The psychology for this game was set by the FA and inevitably 9 times out of 10 the loosing sides comes out on top.

The first half starts well for the Wares with several half chances going their way until 20 minutes in Leverstock have a chance to go in front but the shot was straight at the keeper. The pace of the game quickens at this point and in a quick flurry of end to end action the Wares force a double save at one end and Leverstock score from a cross down the other. Moments later Leverstock go 2-0 up after the Wares make a defensive error. Dan Pett then forces the issue, his first attempt save by the keeper but his second effort saw the keeper make a mistake and allow Edgware back in the game. A little before half time Leverstock continue making errors and the Wares take advantage with Lolu adding his name the the score sheet.

HT: 2-2

The game starts as it finished with the ball down either end of the pitch and in almost a repeat of the first half the Wares have a shot saved and Leverstock go up the other end and make it 3-2. With Manitou forcing the keeper into a save the stage was set for Dan Pett to add his second goal of the game 3-3 at this point. Lolu adds to his tally of shots before Leverstock curl a shot into the net. Edgware keep plugging away and making a few changes just before Leverstock take a free kick that was headed in making it a difficult last few moments.

FT: 5-3
