Chalfont St Peter 6 v 2 Edgware Town

The score line flattered the home side who are a division above with a budget and a settled side. At times the Wares pulled them apart but again started very slowly and were 2-0 down early on, the two goals coming from crosses and both should have be cleared. Goals were defensive errors; too poor when clearing the ball away leaving Chalfont to score from 6 yards.

Credit to the the Wares who came back to 2-2 just after halftime. A Great goal by Ethan Mooney to equalise. The Wares missed a good chance to go 3-2 up and were the better side at that point. Chalfont then scored a header from a corner.

Some good individual performances and team play. Unfortunately Tom came off after 20 mins which was surly frustrating, Hanni played well again and some good displays especially from Lolu, Mikkel, Andrew Manitou, Ethan and Cicero.

There needs to be more awareness in the defensive phase of the game and on losing possession; need to work hard getting the ball back and stopping crosses with 5 goals coming from those types of plays. Too naive at times and need to improve on game management. However, lots of potential.
