Wares 0 v 0 Hertford Town. Att 96.

Wares held out for a great draw after playing nearly 70 minutes with 10 men. The Ref started the proceedings off by booking Dennis after foul while totally ignoring the hack on Ads and stamp on Jack Smith. The game never flowed with constant fouls. Then Glen Parry saw Red after a tackle on the Half way line. Looked like he pulled out at the last second but the ref sent him for a early bath. The Wares then conceded a penalty after what looked like a great tackle by Marksy. Cain made a great save to deny the striker. The 2nd half was attack v defence with the odd breakaway from Ads who was up top alone. That was until he was smashed from behind, that only brought a booking, but left ads leaving the field in a sling. Some more great defending, with the back 4 outstanding along with excellent defensive work by McCluskey and debutant Jordan Lawal. After 15 minutes added time the wares gained a excellent point. Next up Stotfold away.
